Worldaire was formed in 1985 as an importer and wholesaler of Air Conditioning parts. It soon became evident that with the changes being made in the modern air conditioning systems that a workshop was needed to be added to the company. When the workshop was opened we found that very little was known in Australia about the modern compressors.

The Company purchased two compressor test beds so that we could test and repair these modern compressors. It wasn’t long before this side of the business had become as important as the Importing and Wholesaling of parts with compressors coming from all over Australia for repair.

At present Worldaire carries some 2000 items of Air Conditioning parts and 600 different remanufactured compressors completed on the shelf and with braches in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. In most cases we can supply remanufactured compressors and parts on the same day requested. In the last few years we have found car companies have modernized AC Systems hoses so that they are unique to each model and car. This has prompted us to install hose making facilities and allied welding. However, this can only be done from our Sydney office.
